Alumni Communication Request

This form is intended for Hope College Faculty and Staff or Alumni Volunteer use only.

Philanthropy and Engagement maintains all email addresses for alumni, families, donors and friends of the college, and we communicate with those constituents on your behalf. Below, you can submit the details for your email communication. We will format it and send a draft to you for review before sending it out to constituents. It will be sent from your department email address, and all responses will come directly to that inbox. If you have any photos or files to share with your request, please email them to Katie Ulrich.

Once you’ve submitted this form, your request will be sent to Philanthropy and Engagement for approval. Please allow up to one business week to receive a response. If you have questions about your submission, please contact Katie Ulrich.

Any information distributed by Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement is intended for college-related purposes only. Information may not be used for solicitations or any business purposes. Appropriate purposes include, but are not limited to: one-time college correspondence, accreditation, invitations, volunteer recruitment, student recruitment, or alumni networking. Data is not to be used for the purpose of developing and maintaining databases separate from the main Hope College alumni database, which is maintained in the Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement office.

If you have a message you would like sent via email to the group specified above, please complete the following fields.
Date to be Sent
The email can be set up to show as coming “from” anyone in your department. We recommend listing an individual (such as your department chair). Otherwise, you can use your department’s name (ex: Hope College History Department”).
"From" Email Address
The email will be shown as coming from the email address of your choosing, and all replies will go directly to that email address. We recommend using your department’s email address (ex: history@hope.edu) as all email addresses have to be verified in our MailChimp account.
Keep the subject line brief (ideally 8 words or fewer).
You can also upload your items into a Google Drive folder or Google doc and share it with Katie Ulrich (preferred method).
